The Team
Stowmarket Town Pastors is run by a Management Committe from various churches in and around the Town, who work to the following constitution:

- Known as Stowmarket Town Pastors, a Christian, non-profit making community group.
- The Management Committee should have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 members.
- The Management Committee is responsible for the Stowmarket Town Pastor strategy, agreements, direction and operational matters for the scheme.
- The Management Committee shall meet a minimum of 4 times a year.
- Stowmarket Town Pastors will operate according to the Town Pastors (Ipswich) Terms of Agreement, signed 26th May 2009.
- Stowmarket Town Pastors will operate according to the protocol agreed with the police and local authority, signed 4th August 2009.
- Stowmarket Town Pastors will adhere to policies regarding Safeguarding Children and vulnerable persons.
- A quorum for any Policy decisions shall be by a simple majority of members of the committee present. The Chair of that meeting shall have the casting vote.
- Signatories on any bank transaction shall be by 2 of the 4 officers – Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Co-ordinator.
- Annual accounts will be drawn up by the Treasurer and examined by an independent auditor;
- In the event of closure of Stowmarket Town Pastors, all equipment and finances (following settlement of any debts) would be given to Town Pastors Ipswich for donation to other Suffolk Town Pastor schemes.
